Borobudur Indonesian Cuisine
Borobudur Indonesian Cuisine in BKK1 specializes in a range of authentic Indonesian food that attracts Indonesian natives, Cambodians and foreigners alike. The popular restaurant opened its doors three years ago when the owner decided to introduce Indonesian food to Phnom Penh, and provide a place for Indonesians to enjoy the dishes they miss from home. Importantly, the restaurant provides a place for Muslim people to enjoy halal food, which can be hard to find in the city.
What stands out at Borobudur is the pleasant atmosphere, accentuated by the air conditioned interiors, outdoor seating and VIP rooms. Plus the food is delicious, with all the Indonesian staples taken care of. Customers can enjoy a classic Nasi Goreng, Eggplant Balado or Beef Rendang alongside a tropical smoothie. One of the most commonly ordered dishes is the Oxtail Soup, which wins our approval since it is prepared to be low in oil but high in flavor. Want something spicier? Try the roasted beef ribs, they come highly recommended.
If you’re planning a celebration, Borobudur welcomes parties and special events. Find them on the corner of Street 310 and Street 57. More information at https://www.facebook.com/borobudur.pnh.
